Encoding
- Sometimes the installer.php folder is encoded incorrectly.
- Download the file via ftp directly from the server. You can get the file name here:
Extra Lines in Installer.php
- Sometimes extra lines get added to the beginning of the installer.php file
- Delete the extra lines
Plugin Version
- If you are restoring a site over an existing site the plugin on the destination site ( the one being over written) mus be the same or higher than the source site.
